• The contest runs from 11:00 am on Saturday, May 2 and ends on Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 pm.
  • You need to sign up for the contest and submit a photo of your artwork to be considered.
  • Your design must only include washable chalk. Any non-chalk props or items used in the artwork will disqualify the artwork.
  • No paint, crayon, ink or other non-washable or permanent products permitted.
  • Some chalk may be crushed and diluted in water to assist the artist.
  • No Spray Chalk or Marking Chalk may be used.
  • All artwork needs to be appropriate for family viewing.
  • When your design is complete, take a photo of it with your phone and upload it using the Photo Submission form below.
  • Winners who are not present the finale will be notified by phone on May 3
  • The winning submissions will also be posted on this website and social media on Monday, May 4.

Rules of Entry

  1. To participate, complete an entry form with your name, email address, phone number, age range, postal code, category and submit it below.
  2. Only one submission per category per person. A submission for each category is permitted.
  3. The contest runs from May 2 at 11:00 am to May 3 at 3pm. Deadline for entries is May 3 at 3:00 pm.
  4. Winners to be announced on Sunday, May 3 at 6 pm at For Good Measure, 579 Niagara Street, Victoria.
  5. No purchase necessary. You need not be present to win although we hope you are.
  6. Approximate value of each of the prizes is $50 – $100 donated from local businesses and arts organizations.
